Message Ok I know I have been posting comments and some remarks of the dedication and hard work that I have seen from you all on your Z’s. This is my first post so please give me some slack if this does not cover the full process (just giving you the short run down). I’m coming to the end of my first summer season with the Z and I have done some minor upgrades to the car from the help of a few good friends in the NOVA area. I purchased the Z in the Richmond, VA area from a former twinturbo.net member in good condition, but like any Z, the car will always need some attention as another season passes by.

I had a nice day ahead of me this past Saturday with sun and a bucket of soap to get my Z cleaned. I have been searching for a while and have been making a tough decision to either get the paint refreshed at a local body shop or try another alternative product. I found that most on the site were praising the fact that Dr Colorchip not only was a good product, but the product was paint matched to the factory color code. I proceeded to purchase the “best value kit” to take my chance on getting the Z’s paint refreshed. Here are some pics of the process which took a good bit of Saturday…but as you can see the time was worth the hard work!

These pictures only do so much justice and seeing the transformation in person is just amazing. The best value kit covered my repairs to the front bumper and hood areas. I’m not a spokes person for the product, but I wanted to share my good fortune with you all that has not found this paint kit. The product will not be for all if you that have a custom paint job, but it really helps me buy some more time with the factory paint before a new paint job. I have a few more upcoming upgrades before the winter sets in and hopefully I will have my profile more up to date within the next few weeks with the new modifications. For those of you I met at ZCON this past year, it was nice to meet you all and hopefully see you soon at up coming Z events.

Thanks!
